PRESIDENTS CUP 2022
The Miners Lacrosse Club is proud to be hosting the 2022 Presidents Cup at Bill Hunter (9200-163 Street, Edmonton) from Sunday August 28th to Saturday September 3rd, 2022. The Senior B National Championship will host 8 teams from across Canada competing for the ultimate prize, the Presidents Cup. The teams competing will be loaded with some of the best NLL players in the world playing the most exciting lacrosse in the country.
We are reaching out to you because we want you to be a part of this exciting week of lacrosse. Whether you want to volunteer, be a sponsor or a fan we have lots of options that will allow you to be a part of the action. Having hosted this championship in 2016 we know how much fun it can be a part of this event and we know how important each of you are to making it a great event. So please let us know how you would like to join us.

We have lots of options still available if you would to be a sponsor of the Miners or of the tournament. Volunteers:
No tournament can be successful without committed volunteers and the more the marrier. Your contributions are invaluable, and we have positions for every type of commitment that one wishes to make. We are looking for people who value being a part of a fun event. If you are interested contact our volunteer coordinator David Wright at davidewright@shaw.ca and let him know your interest.
Fans:
We all know that it is the fans that make or break a tournament and our goal is to pack the arena to create that atmosphere that brings the best out of the players. We are ready to welcome all of you who have attended our games during the season, attended your own league games or perhaps just getting back into the swing of things after the pandemic. This is a great opportunity to see great lacrosse and be a part of the lacrosse community.
The Miners are excited to offer a free tournament pass to all minor lacrosse players ages 17 and under for all round robin games of the tournament. Please present the attached pass at the front entrance for free admission. Autographs will be available from players following each game. Players can utilize the playing surface for shooting between periods with a helmet.
Tickets and Prices
Tickets and passes are available at the door.
Round Robin Play
- All access tournament pass including medal games (limited number available) - $75.00
- Day pass for round robin play - $25.00
- Day pass for students and seniors (with ID) for round robin play - $20.00
- Single game round robin play - $10.00
- Single game for students and seniors (with ID) for round robin play - $ 5.00
Medal Round
- Full day pass for medal games - $25.00
- Single game for medal games - $15.00
- Single medal game for minors (17 and under), students and seniors (with ID) - $10.00
