League Information

U7 Full Details

Games are structured in accordance with the Long Term Athlete Development Program of Lacrosse Canada indicated in the CLA Rule Book - Option X. Games are played with smaller nets and on half the playing surface.

All teams will participate in 1 weekend of play (Saturday or Sunday) in May, and June against other clubs. Due to the high volume of players/teams we are unable to provide a set practice schedule and days/times may vary.

U7 will have a wrap up CDLA Jamboree style tournament June 2026.

U9 Full Details

U9 Lacrosse will be played as per the Lacrosse Canada Rule Book.

U9 Season Play will begin April 2026.

For the 2026 Box Lacrosse playing season, there will be a combination of weekday games and weekend games. Due to the high volume of players/teams we are unable to provide a set practice schedule and days/times may vary.

Notes & Clarifications
  • U9: Last 5 minutes of the 3rd period is stop time
  • U11 & U13: Last 2 minutes of the 3rd period is stop time
  • Stop Time Definition: Clock stops only for goals, penalties, and time-outs, except for the 6-goal differential rule
  • When the game comes within 4 goals, the clock restarts
  • Fall-Back Rule applies to U7 and U9
  • During run time, all penalties run at their full designated length (Minor 2 min, Major 5 min, Misconduct 10 min, etc.)
