Calgary Roughnecks Canada Day (CDLA Tournament) - Annually around July 1st weekend
The Canada Day Tournament began in 1977, but at that time the tournament was restricted to only Peewee teams. A couple of years later, Bantam teams were added to the tournament, and in 1981, Novice teams were added as well.
Every year the tournament hosts around 100 teams in U17 and below, making it the largest indoor lacrosse tournament in North America. Teams for the tournament come from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, British Columbia, and on some occasions, as far away as Australia.
