Frequently Asked Questions:
1. When does the season start?
Clubs will hold evaluations and make up teams from late March to the end of April. The season generally starts in late April or early May and continues to end of June, with playoffs to the end of June to mid-July. This includes league play, city championships and provincials. Teams winning the city championships are expected to compete in Provincials which is held over the first 2 weeks of July.
2. How do I register my son/daughter to play lacrosse?
Registration is completed through your local club which is determined by where you live. For more information on registrations, please refer to the Member Clubs page.
3. What equipment will my son/daughter need?
For a full list of equipment, please refer to the EQUIPMENT page.
4. What are the age groups?
The age groups are as follows. Ages are as of December 31 of the calendar year.
U7 - 4-6 years old
U9 - 6-8 years old
U11 - 9-10 years old
U13 - 11-12 years old
U15 - 13-14 years old
U17 - 15-16 years old
